Hard to believe but it has been 10 years since the earthquake.
4WARND Web Project1.0 by Juan Quixote
4WARND Web Project1.0 is a work in process. The idea behind it is to have a live fire practice range for my attempts to learn web design. It is currently based on a free template website design by NodeThirtyThree Design. Life being what it is this may be a slow process so this introduction is mainly for those that accidentally trip across this site and wonder what is going on.
The name of this site, "4WARND", isn't just an attempt to circumvent the cyber-squatters that have snagged nearly all permutations of "forewarned" but it was/is the license plate on my car. Originally it was on a 1980 rat motored Camaro Z28 but now it resides on a much more mundane vehicle. Since I have nearly 30 years of history with this moniker I thought it would be a good web presence for me. Friends and relatives also thought it would be a good fit so here it is.
The quote from which the original "4WARND" idea came is out of Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes. The actual quote is "Forewarned forearmed." (Part II, Book III, ch. 10)
